1st Match – 4-Way #1 Contenders Match for the OSPW Tag-Team Championship T-Rex Express (Rex Atkins/Troy “The Boy” Buchanan) VS Talent Elite V (Papa Terry Kadillac/Nasty Nick Nice) VS Thoroughbreds of Imperfection (Kriptic Keegan/Cassius Ikika Cutcher accompanied by Mirage) VS Mikey Everynight & Chris West with Rev. Dave     What a way to start off a wrestling event! These guys were all over the ring with a lot to prove. You could tell everyone in the ring had a seriousness about them to get to the Tag-Team gold. As always T-Rex Express had good control of the ring for quite some time using methods to distract the ref. Mikey Everynight, always a fan-favorite and Mr. Wrestling Chris West charged the ring with an effective strategy to keep their opponents in their corner, which lasted a while, but not long enough. Veteran Terry Kadillac and partner Nick Nice worked well as a tag-team. Kriptic Keegan (Wrestler of The Year 09/10) & Cassius Ikika Cutcher made a point to watch the three other tag-teams wear each other out before they stepped in to take advantage and win the match with a huge double-team-finisher scoring a pinfall. (Thoroughbreds of Imperfection made it a point to interrupt the commentators table during The Sons of Thunder (Tag-Team Champions)  match later that night.

2nd Match – ROUND 1 Emperor of Old School Qualifying Match – 3-Way Dance Kwan Chang VS Nick Vickers VS Billy Foxx Right from the start Kwan Chang (along w/Manager Jaz Miles and Dee Licious in his corner) started complaining that the match was a 2-on-1 Handicap Match and was completely unfair to him. Also, Billy Foxx was bellyaching about why Nick Vickers was getting an opportunity at a title shot when he is a Former OSPW World Champion. (Nick Vickers won a shot at the OSPW NY Title last show but Titus Smith & the cartel cheated him out of it) – [Billy Foxx and Nick Vickers are both members of The Fallen]. Billy Foxx made sure he was going to let Vickers know it was every man for himself in this match by immediately throwing punches. Kwan Chang waited outside the ring until he had opportunity to take over on Vickers. Foxx waited methodically outside the ring as the action went back and forth with Vickers and Chang. Chang had much control throughout this match. Foxx put up a good fight with Chang. In the end, Foxx showed more of his frustration when he took Kwan Chang’s kendo stick and busted Nick Vickers head open with it. Foxx left the ring, and the Fallen, Kwan covered Vickers for the pinfall to advance in the tournament.

3rd Match – OSPW Junior Heavyweight Title Match Damien Lucas (C) VS Shane Alden (From MTV’s True Life 2008-“Jealous of My Sibling Episode!) NOTE: Before the match, in the locker room, Lucas was overheard saying his opponent wasn’t going to show so he was going to collect his check and go home on a forfeit. OSPW Commissioner Danny Magick overheard the rumor and had a surprise for Lucas. Lucas entered the ring telling the announcer to mention his opponent is a no-show. Danny Magick got off his phone, went to the ring, and told Lucas he had a feeling he would pull another dirty stunt, so he made sure the OSPW Fans would get to see Damien Lucas defend his title by picking him a special opponent in Shane Alden. Alden came to the ring a house-of-fire applying move-after-move to Lucas, Lucas got some good moves in on his own as well. Just when it appeared Alden had the match won when he pinned Lucas too close to the ropes, (Lucas legally held his hand on the rope before the three count but Alden didn’t see it), Lucas came up from behind to attack Alden and plant his Roll of the Dice finisher he calls the roll to Hell for the win.

Match 4 – A Emperor of Old School Qualifying Match – 4-Way Dance Papa Terry Kadillac VS Al Jihad VS Dain The Pain VS Shadokat (This was Shadokat’s first return match to OSPW since his knee was injured at the hands of We now believe to be Damien Lucas) The crowd was hot already and this match made them even hotter and louder. There was so match action going on even Al Jihad had a brand new OSPW Fan in the audience get involved in the action when he used the kid’s replica title to hit his opponent in the head! This is one of the reasons OSPW fans LOVE OSPW!!! Shadokat entered the ring as if he never missed a beat using his quickness and aerial ability. Dain The Pain kept up the momentum applying moves to any opponent that got in his way, he was hungry to win this match and it showed. Terry Kadillac, always entertaining, and always bitter with the crowd, kept making sure he was a thorn in Dain’s side by breaking any pinfall attempts. Al Jihad in his usual fashion would let the other opponents duke it out before landing his own shots in.As it looked like Shado Kat would advance Lucas pulled him off the pinfall attempt just before the ref. counted Three at that moment the time ran out on this one, so no one moves on to the next round. As it ends in a time limit draw. Jaz Miles was at ringside sticking his nose where it didn’t belong when finally Dain The Pain had enough and pulled him into the ring to offer Jaz a Pain Killer! [Appeared to me that Jaz purposely got involved for Kwan Chang to advance with a bye]

Match 5 – a 6 Man Tag – The UWC(Underworld Cartel) Members Tyger Smith, Bacardi Kid, and OSPW NY Champion Titus Smith VS Sons of Thunder (Deacon & Bishop), and Lexx Anvil As usual the Underworld Cartel was accompanied by their Manager Mr. Perez carrying his infamous flashlight and Valet Angel. Sons of Thunder were accompanied by their Manager Thunder) This was classic tag-team wrestling. Back and forth action. I can give you all the details but it’s what happened next that made this match even more interesting. While the match was underway winners of the #1 Contender Match for the OSPW Tag-titles Thoroughbreds of Imperfection w/Valet Mirage interrupted the commentators table mainly to talk about themselves and in hopes of digging into the psyche of Sons of Thunder. Underworld Cartel pulled off a lot of flashy moves, sometimes showing off a bit too much, but it was enough for Tyger Smith to land a pinfall over Lexx Anvil for UWC to get the win. But wait&ldots;.there’s more&ldots;.:0) BREAKING NEWS AFTER THE MATCH!!! TYGER SMITH ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT!!! But wait&ldots;.THERE’S MORE!!! Tyger Smith announced that it would be his last match in OSPW ever and told the people of Buffalo that they had no class. Tyger stated his last match will be presented by OSPW Friday May 6th, at the Rochester Main Street Armory (900 East Main Street, 14605), NO DQ’S, NO COUNTOUTS when Tyger Smith takes on Gabe Saint. After the match Deacon grabbed the mic to ask Tyger if that’s how he wanted to end it. Tyger said to Deacon, “I beat you clean, fair, and square, its over.” Deacon said, “No, I want you and me 1-on-1.” Tyger danced around the question for a bit, then he finally accepted. Deacon said to Tyger, “I forgot to tell you, it’s in a steel cage!” Tyger didn’t seem to upset when he stated, “That’s great. Because, I’m gonna enjoy tossing you out the door!” Deacon said, “No Tyger, it’s pinfall or submission only.” NOTE: After the show OSPW Commissioner Danny Magick made it official that at Civil War VII, April 30th, at Hamburg Volunteer Fire Company, 301 Union St, Hamburg, NY 14075 (cheap plug, ha!), due to the magnitude of this event there will be an OFFICIAL CONTRACT SIGNING IN THE RING.

Match 6 – OSPW Emperor of Old School Qualifying Match Eric Summerville (TSK) VS The Guardian Angel (Gabriel Soul) This was a very good match from the opening bell with solid back and forth action. Gabriel Soul showed he has what it takes to keep up with the big boys when TSK used his usual methods of brute force attacks, Soul answered back with textbook moves. Gabriel Soul proved he had the heart and the desire to advance when he was able to overcome and obtain a victory to advance in the tournament. When Jeremiah Bradley attempted to assist TSK only to have it all fall apart when Summerville did not want the help...   After The Match; TSK announced that it would be his last match in OSPW  and in a shocking turn of events instead of telling the fans where to go, he stated with the class of a true professional, “I hope you’ve been entertained.” Surprisingly enough, as TSK was about to leave the ring, Jeremiah Bradley viciously attacked him from behind and tossed him from the ring. Al Jihad came to the ring and was taken out as well! It seems Bradley no longer needs his click The FALLOUT is dead.  Bradley waited in the ring for his opponents with nothing but a cold stare in his eye.

MATCH 7 – Emperor of Old School Qualifying Match Jeremiah Bradley VS Steve Kruz VS Eric Emanon As Kruz entered the ring Bradley immediately attacked him enough to toss Kruz out of the ring. Bradley sat in the turnbuckle cold and merciless awaiting for Eric Emanon to get to the ring. Eric came out strong with his high-flying tactics and amazing speed. Kruz jumped back in the match to show why he’s one of the best on the indy circuit. Both men tried to stay on Bradley to get the big man off his feet long enough for a pinfall but with no success. Before anyone could blink Punisher Vanslyk  stormed the ring and tossed everyone to the floor. (At the time of this writing it is Why he did this?). The Ref had no choice but to declare the match a NO CONTEST.

Match 8 – MAIN EVENT #1 FOR THE OSPW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP OSPW WORLD CHAMPION TRIP VS BRIAN EMANON Trip entered the walkway in usual top hat and full-length black coat when he told the fans to hold on a moment. He went back to the locker room and came out in his old Spot Monkeys, Inc. attire and throwing his trademark bananas into the crowd (Trip and Brian were former Tag-Team partners as Spot Monkeys, Inc. in the past) Ok, here’s the deal, Brian decided that he wasn’t going to put a lot of effort into this match from the get-go as he felt Trip would be an easy fight. Surprise, surprise, Trip came at Emanon in usual fashion applying, reversing, and landing effective tactics, strategies, and power moves. Brian, a true veteran of the ring with years of experience, knew at the most opportune moments when he needed to slide out of the ring to clear the cobwebs and for Trip to lose momentum. A classic veteran move. Trip made it to the top rope to do some high-flying. Both men seemed to be able to read each other’s minds but Brian just seemed different and pre-occupied at times in the ring. Apparently, if such was the case, it put Brian in a position to receive two, not one, but two superkicks, to cost him the win. Trip remains OSPW World Champion.

Match 9 – MAIN EVENT #2 TO CROWN THE NEW 2011 EMPEROR OF OLD SCHOOL The Asian Nightmare Kwan Chang VS Gabriel Soul Gabriel Soul came to the ring to screaming OSPW Fans that wanted nothing more than to see Kwan Chang along w/his Manager Jaz Miles and Dee Licious at ringside get defeated. Kwan Chang planted numerous martial arts kicks to Soul immediately before the bell even rang. Soul took a beating for quite some time before it appeared something from upstairs gave him the power to overcome once again and pick up speed applying several power moves to Chang. This completely caught Kwan Chang off guard. All of a sudden Kwan was taking Soul a bit more seriously. The aggression and tension in the faces of both men showed they were going to give it everything they had to become the new Emperor of Old School as the winner always receives an instant title shot against the current OSPW World Champion. (OSPW World Champion Trip sat ringside to watch the match). Soul had everything stacked against him with Jaz Miles continuously distracting the ref and blatantly getting involved. As Soul was about to come off the ropes in what appeared to be a winning situation for him, Dee Licious held Soul’s feet down on the apron as Kwan Chang covered him for the pin. OSPW Commissioner Danny Magick came to the ring with scepter, crown, and robe to present to Kwan Chang. Kwan Chang looked it over, tossed the scepter, blew his nose on the robe, demanded to have his own robe put on him, then had his Manager Jaz Miles place the crown on his head. Your New 2011 OSPW Emperor of Old School The Asian Nightmare Kwan Chang! Buffalo’s own and OSPW #1 Commentator Joey “The Bruiser”Tenebruso closed the show with a big Thank You to the fans of OSPW!
